product visualization
Geitgey’s Amish Country Furnishings works with more than 200 Amish builders, each with their own design styles, along with countless options for wood species, stain colors, hardware, fabrics, and finishes. While we have lifestyle photography available for many products, there are still countless pieces and combinations that aren’t represented in a lifestyle setting. I began using AI tools like Adobe Firefly to create additional product visualizations and room settings that showcase different design aesthetics, helping inspire customers and give them a better idea of how specific products and finish options could come together in a space.
I start by selecting the overall style and carefully curating the furniture, wood, stains, fabrics, and accessories to complement it. Using our catalog photography as a starting point, I render the products with the selected finishes and make adjustments in Photoshop when needed. I then select and modify a room environment to fit the aesthetic, plan the composition, and use Firefly to place the furniture and accessories into the space. Once the room is assembled, I create additional views from different camera angles to highlight specific pieces and give customers a better sense of the layout and possibilities.
